Boot Or Start Computer Faster

Many computers take heaps of your time besides (or
start ).This is because of several reasons.
Some slight changes will do wonders for your system:
1. Press start->run then kind msconfig and press enter.
Go to the startup tab. Here you'll see a listing of startup
items. These ar all the programs that mechanically
start once you boot your computer. it's these that prevent
the boot up method.
So uncheck all the unwanted things
like ms-office, messengers different utilities that u might not
need at startup). do not uncheck your antivirus
software.
Restart your computer to and see for yourself, your computer can
now boot quicker....
2. an excellent new feature in Microsoft Windows XP is that the
ability to try and do a boot defragment. This places all boot
files next to every different on the disk to permit for quicker
booting. By default this feature is enabled, however on some
systems it's not, thus below is that the info on a way to
turn it on:
Go to begin Menu and click on Run
Type in regedit then click ok
Find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoft
DfrgBootOpt imizeFunction"
Select "Enable" from the list on the proper
Right on it and choose "Modify"
Change the worth to Y .
Reboot your computer and see the modification yourself.
3. SPEED UP BOOT BY DISABLING UNUSED PORTS.!!
You may have tried several tweaks like modifying
windows XP start-up applications, prefetches, unload
DLLs technique, etc. And affirmative those ways work for
me.
I have simply accidentally detected another
way to offer you an additional boost in windows XP's boot
performance. this can be done by disabling your unused
devices in Device Manager. as an example, if you do not
have input devices that ar connected to 1 of your
USB's or COM ports, disabling them can offer you associate
extra performance boost in booting. visit management
Panel -> System -> Hardware tab -> device manager
Disable devices that you simply do not use for your computer then
restart.
